About Michael Mahan

A third-generation realtor, Michael grew up in a family where both residential and commercial real estate were more than a business—they were a way of life. From an early age, he gained hands-on experience in equity, contracts, logistics, and the fine details that make or break a deal. After graduating from LeTourneau University in 1985 with an ATBS degree, Michael also discovered and pursued a lifelong passion for aviation. Over the past 45 years, he has honed his skills with relentless discipline, blending two distinct but complementary careers. Today, he serves as a real estate agent with Competitive Edge Realty while also captaining a Falcon 2000LX for B&E Resources. His aviation career has given him the privilege of flying U.S. Presidents, legislators, business leaders, entertainers, and their families across the globe—an experience that sharpened his precision, discretion, and ability to navigate complex challenges. Michael brings that same mindset to real estate: it’s all about knowing the obstacles, anticipating the hazards, and planning for contingencies so that every journey ends well.
